Lieutenant Colonel Gabriel M. Young is the Senior Legal Advisor to the NATO International Military Staff at HQ NATO in Brussels, Belgium. In this capacity, he provides legal advice and strategic guidance to the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Military Committee, the Director General of the International Military Staff, the NATO Military Committee, and the International Military Staff.
Lieutenant Colonel Young entered the Air Force in September 2004 as a direct appointee after graduating from Ave Maria School of Law. He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Oregon, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the United States Supreme Court.
Lieutenant Colonel Young is married to the former Moon Kyung Kim and they have three sons, Luke, Dominic and Malachi Finn, and a daughter, Emma.
