145th Panel A Meeting
The 145 AC/135 Panel A meeting was held on 03-06 March 2025 at NSPA, in Luxembourg with 66 participants from NATO, Tier 2, Tier 1 countries and NSPA in attendance.
This Panel A was an extraordinary 4-day meeting, as the 3rd of March was devoted to the Item Identification Guides (IIGs) Decommission project, which will impact national and NSPA applications and as such will preoccupy AC/135 in the next 1-2 years.
During the IIGs Decommission session USA detailed the project itself, delivered detailed presentations on the new format of Codification tables, as well as responded to a series of inquiries and questions from nations.
The core Panel A meeting, chaired by the new Chairperson Mr. Jürgen Wrentschur (NLD), was held on 04-06 March focusing amongst others on NCS systemic changes, quality topics, artificial intelligence and potential codification synergies.

29th TSWG Meeting
The 29th AC/135 Transformation Steering Working Group (TSWG) meeting was hosted by the Netherlands, in Utrecht, on 25-27 February with 29 participants from NATO, NSPA and industry representatives in attendance.
As an overture to AC/135 Panel A meetings, TSWG assesses the development of NATO Codification System applications and multifaceted technical topics requiring the advice of industrial partners.
Amongst a range of technical issues discussed (Management Information System, IT applications, NMCRL), the predominant topic extensively deliberated was the Item Identification Guides Decommission project, as this will impact national and NSPA applications and as such will preoccupy AC/135 in the next 1-2 years.

126th MG Meeting
The 126th meeting of the Group of National Directors on Codification - AC/135 - was held at NSPA on 12-14 November 2024 with 69 delegates from 42 nations and NSPA in attendance.
Directors addressed a range of financial, policy, strategy and quality topics paying particular attention amongst others to the USA IIGs decommission project and consideration of the “IIG light” concept, the Tier 2 Sponsorship requests from Qatar and Peru, the approval of the Cancellation on Collaboration timeline with an agreed January 2027 implementation date, the implementation of high level MIS dashboards and the approval of the 2025 AC/135 budget.

86th BSC Meeting
The 86th AC/135 Budget and Strategic Planning Sub-Committee (BSC) meeting was held at NSPA on 11 November 2024 with 25 delegates from NATO, Tier 2 countries and NSPA, along with 3 observer countries.
During the 86th BSC meeting financial, policy and IT projects were reviewed, along with a range of quality, training and interoperability topics. The latter always serves a critical role in response to the CNAD “go faster” mandate, which aims to strengthen international cooperation in peace time and crisis, decrease codification timeframes and ultimately provide alternative sources of supply to Armed Forces.

144th Panel A Meeting
The 144 AC/135 Panel A meeting was held on 24-26 September 2024 at NSPA, in Luxembourg with 75 participants from NATO, Tier 2 and Tier 1 countries and NSPA in attendance.
As Panel A is the predominant technical body of the AC/135, the range of main topics addressed during the meeting concerned the NCS systemic changes reading cancellation of NSN, data quality checks, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence potential application to the NCS, codification publications updates, along with dynamic upcoming system changes.
