AC/310 SUB-GROUP 1 ON EXPLOSIVES   A variety of energetic materials are used in munitions. The role of Sub Group 1 is to specify the ingredients and characteristics of explosives authorized for use by NATO nations and to devise tests to establish the physical and mechanical characteristics of explosives and their suitability for use over the life cycle of a munition.
