NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, to attend the 43rd Munich Conference on Security Policy in Germany

The NATO Secretary General of NATO Jaap de Hoop Scheffer will attend the Conference on Security Policy in Munich, Germany on Friday 9 February and Saturday 10 February.

During his stay in Munich, he will meet with a number of officials, including Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Downer, Georgian Minister of Defence David Kezerashvili, Serbian Minister of Defence Zoran Stankovic and Swedish Minister of Defence Mikael Odenberg, as well a US Congressional Delegation.

On Saturday, 10 February the Secretary General will deliver a keynote speech in the context of the panel discussion “NATO in the Age of Global Challenges”.
