NATO Secretary General to travel to Uzbekistan Wednesday, 20 October 2004 The NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will travel to Tashkent on Wednesday, 20 October 2004. He will meet President Islam Karimov, with Minister of Foreign Affairs Sadik Safaev and Minister of Defence Kadir Gulamov. The Secretary General will also address students at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
