NATO Secretary General to visit Germany The NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will travel to Germany from October 6th until October 7th. In Berlin, the Secretary General will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Joschka Fischer and Minister of Defence Peter Struck. He will also address the NATO Review Conference at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik - SWP) and will hold the Manfred Wörner Memorial Lecture under the auspices of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation. In Heidelberg, the Secretary General will address the 12th Annual Conference of European Armies "Shaping Relevant Forces".
