Statement from the NATO Spokesman At 12:00 today, the North Atlantic Council agreed to issue the Execution Directive authorizing the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Joseph Ralston, to release the Activation Order for Operation Essential Harvest. The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Lord Roberston of Port Ellen, will host a press conference at 13:30 hours in the Luns Press Theatre at NATO headquarters.
