NATO Secretary General, Dr. Javier Solana, to visit the United States The Secretary General of NATO, Dr. Javier Solana, will visit the United States from 12th to 15th March 1999. During his visit the Secretary General will have meetings with President Clinton, the Secretary of State, Ms. Madeleine Albright, the Secretary of Defense, Mr. William Cohen, the National Security Adviser, Mr. Samuel Berger and the Deputy Secretary of State, Mr. Strobe Talbott. On Monday, 15th March at 12.00 Dr.Solana will speak at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington. The Secretary General's schedule is subject to change.
