Visit by the Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Military Department of Switzerland, Mr. Adolf Ogi, to NATO on 18 June 1997 Information The Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Military Department of Switzerland, Mr. Adolf Ogi, will visit NATO Headquarters on Wednesday, 18 June. He will attend a meeting of the North Atlantic Council at which he will declare acceptance of the Individual Partnership Programme for Switzerland which has been jointly developed by Switzerland and NATO and approved by the North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at 9:45. Mr. Ogi's departure is expected at 10:30. MEDIA ADVISORY Programme of the Visit 9:40 NATO main entrance. Arrival of Mr. Ogi. Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis. 9:45 Meeting with Secretary General in the Private Office. In view of the limited space available, only a restricted pool will be authorized to cover the beginning of the meeting. 10:00 Room 1: North Atlantic Council Session. Introductory remarks by the Secretary General, followed by reply by Mr. Ogi. Presentation of Swiss Individual Partnership Programme.
