Minister of Defence of Serbia and Montenegro Boris Tadic
Boris Tadic was born on January 15, 1958 in Sarajevo. He went to elementary and high school in Belgrade. He has graduated from Social Psychology, University for Philosophy, also in Belgrade. He was employed as Professor of Psychology, Clinical Psychologist in the Army and research worker on more projects in the area of Development and Social Psychology. From 2003 he has been professor of Politics and advertising at the University for Drama and Arts in Belgrade. He is the Founder and first Director of Center for Development of Democracy and Political skills from 1997-2002. He has been Member of the Democratic Party since 1990 and up to now he performed various functions: Secretary of the General Committee, Vice-President of Executive Board, Acting President of Executive Board and he was twice elected for the Vice-President of the Democratic Party. Since 1996 to 1997 he was Representative in the National Assembly and Member of the National Assembly’s Council for Science and Technology. He was chosen the Representative in the Council of Federal Assembly in 2000. He was Vice-President of the City Council, Member of the Board for Defence and Security and first President of the Commission for the Supervision of Security Services. In 2002 he was the Minister of Telecommunications in the Government of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. In 2003 he was chosen for the Representative in the Assembly of Serbia and Montenegro and Acting Head of the Representative Group of DOS. He speaks English language and also some French language. He is married, father of two children. ![]() |
