Danish troops join Multinational Brigade Latvia for exercise Resolute Warrior 24
Troops from the Royal Danish Army are hard at work in Latvia training alongside their compatriots from NATO’s Multinational Brigade. The troops practised defensive operations during a brigade-wide exercise at Latvia’s Adaži training grounds, training alongside more than 3,500 troops from 13 NATO Allies. The Danish troops arrived in Latvia in August, bringing a battalion of 850 soldiers, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to Camp Valdemar inside Adaži. Since then, they’ve been learning how to integrate their capabilities with those of other Allies. Multinational Brigade Latvia was declared operational in July, making good on the commitment made by Allies at the 2022 Madrid Summit to augment some multinational battlegroups into brigade-sized formations.
