1. ACCREDITATION

Journalists are reminded that requests for
accreditation have to be made before 14 May 1994. (see
reference) The Turkish authorities reserve the right to
withhold press passes in cases where no advance
application has been submitted or where application forms
arrive after the deadline of 14 May 1994. Media will only
be admitted to the Media Centre in the Swissotel "The
Bosphorus" on presentation of a valid identification.
Passes can be collected from 09:00 on 7 June 1994 at the
Media Centre's accreditation desk onproduction of a valid
press pass and other photographic proof of identity.

09:30 Opening Session of the Council begins in the main

The handing out of these special passes at the
accreditation desk in the Swissotel will take place on 8
June, from 09:30 to 16:00.

4. TRANSPORTATION

Journalists will have to make their own arrangements
for transportation from the airport to their hotels and
from their hotels to the Media Centre (Swissotel) and
back.

5. CUSTOMS

Journalists are reminded that they should declare
their technical equipment (temporary import) at the
Customs Office upon arrival in Turkey.
