Anne-Marie M. Pick is the Director, NATO Office of Resources (NOR) in Brussels, Belgium.

Her career experience in both the U.S. military and NATO includes senior leadership positions in policy, operations, finance, and resource management.

After graduating with honors from the U.S. Naval Academy, she was commissioned as a Supply Corps Officer. Her active duty military assignments included leadership of the Automated Data Processing, Quality Assurance, and Payroll Divisions onboard USS ORION (AS-18), in La Maddalena, Italy; Assistant Director of Logistics and Financial Management on the staff of Commander Undersea Surveillance, U.S. Atlantic Fleet; and her final active tour of duty at NATO Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic (SACLANT) in Norfolk, Virginia.

In subsequent leadership roles in the U.S. Naval Reserve Force, Mrs. Pick served as Commanding Officer Naval Air Terminal Norfolk; Officer in Charge of Forward Logistics Sites in Italy and Sierra Leone, Africa; and as Director of Logistics for NR Carrier Group Eight. She retired as a U.S. Navy Captain following 20 years of military service.

Mrs. Pick has served in several NATO organizations, beginning at SACLANT, where she served as Budget Officer, the financial lead for the mission change of the command, and ultimately as Budget, Planning, Programming and Financial Analysis Officer at Allied Commander Transformation (ACT). She was also appointed interim ACT Financial Controller at the request of the Supreme Allied Commander, ACT.

Following her NATO assignments in Norfolk, Mrs. Pick and her family moved to Europe where she served as Director of Finance and Personnel at the NATO Central Europe Pipeline Management Agency (CEPMA) in Versailles, France. At CEPMA, Mrs. Pick was responsible for human resource management and policy development, and financial management and policy development at CEPMA and the National Organizations. In support of NATO Agency Reform, Mrs. Pick served as Finance Lead for the establishment of the NATO Support Agency and the CEPS Programme Office in July 2012.

In 2012, Mrs. Pick assumed duties as the first Financial Controller of the NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency during a period of unprecedented change, integrating five legacy organizations, developing financial policy, centralizing and streamlining financial operations, implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and implementing customer funding. Mrs. Pick and her team maintained financial accountability and provided support for a multi-year, multibillion-euro customer funded organization, located in 30 locations throughout Europe and North America and comprised of more than 3000 military, civilian and contract personnel.

Mrs. Pick earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Business Administration degree from Old Dominion University and completed the Strategic Leadership Programme at Oxford University. She is married to Dr. Leonard J. Pick II, and they have two children.
