NATO hosts a high-level conference on Human Security
NATO will host a two-day event focused on Human Security on 25-26 February 2021. This will consist of a public high-level digital dialogue and a series of workshops for specialists and practitioners.
The high-level dialogue on Thursday 25 February will be opened by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. This will be followed by a panel discussion with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, Professor Mary Kaldor of the London School of Economics, Dr. Walter Dorn of the Royal Military College of Canada, and Ms. Eva Svoboda, Deputy Director of International Law and Policy and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Jamie Shea of the University of Exeter.
This event will take place via Zoom.
On Friday 26 February, the conference will continue with workshops on Human Security topics, with participation from NATO Allies and subject-matter experts. The workshops will not be public.
