NATO Digital Dialogue on Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (online event)
On Friday, 19 June 2020, NATO is hosting a Digital Dialogue on Conflict-Related Sexual Violence to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will open the event.
Keynote speakers will include:
- Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, Maria Teresa,
- Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Goodwill Ambassador, Nadia Murad,
- United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Special Envoy, Angelina Jolie,
- United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, Pramila Patten.
Civil society experts will also take part.
The Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, Clare Hutchinson, will moderate the event.
